 Clearing Emotional Gridlock

Sometimes there is so much going on during the holiday season, it seems impossible to make headway in a positive direction. Emotional entanglements are rampant at this time of year because of collective karma that you may share with family or friends. Past life experiences that are still unresolved have a tendency to rise to the surface of our collective consciousness. For some, this is experienced as heightened emotional distress, anger or feelings of powerlessness. This emotional healing game provides one way to loosen up the emotional and karmic gridlock so that resolution can become possible. Use these symbols with your imagination to create emotional healing.

Step One:

Think about a situation involving the holidays or a family problem that just doesn’t seem to get better, no matter what you try. Use this symbol to help you visualize the problem very clearly.

Step Two:

Now we’re going to use your imagination to clear the emotional entanglements you have around this situation. Look at the symbol below and imagine that you’re traveling down an icy road and you come to a screeching halt at a crossroads where the intersection branches off in many different directions. You see a big signpost with signs for all the different destinations, yet for some reason, you can’t see them clearly. The words seem fuzzy and out of focus, creating confusion in your mind. How frustrating it is to be unclear in a place like this where you have to make a decision!

Step Three:

Let’s suppose that by going through the following sequence of symbols, you’ll be able clear your confusion, see the signs clearly and know intuitively what to decide.

Look at this symbol for a few moments and imagine that you are untangling a messy string of holiday lights. Stay with it until the lights are all straightened out and ready to be hung.

Step Four:

Imagine that you’re in a play school with dozens of little children fighting over presents. As you look at this symbol, imagine that you blow a whistle or horn. As if awakened from a nightmare, the children stop fighting and begin to play quietly with each other, and with you.

Step Five:

Imagine that you’re in a toy store where a crowd of people are struggling to get the last toy on the shelf. Now imagine that the toy unexpectedly turns into a pile of wriggling snakes. Use the symbol to transform and clear negativity by imagining that the snakes are disappearing into thin air.

Step Six:

Now imagine that you’re back at the crossroads again. How has it changed? Use this affirmation to clear up any remaining emotional confusion:

“I release all false information. I now perceive clearly.”

Step Seven:

Now you can use Kuan Yin’s symbol for Tidings of Joy to complete the game.

Use this final affirmation:

“I decide to be joyful.”

Congratulations!

You have successfully used your imagination with these healing symbols to clear confusion and obstructions out of your subconscious mind. The next time you encounter this emotional situation, notice if the dynamics have changed for you.

Healing Past Cycles of Violence and Fear

If you’re having trouble feeling peaceful, it may be because you’re still “tuning in” to old DNA patterns from past lives. To help you, we’re offering a  Past Life Healing Circle on 11/11/11.

Here is some more help through an Energy Healing Game called “Letting Go.”

Gently gaze at these Circles one at a time and consider the question or affirmation that goes with each Step. This process helps you to become aware of past life karmic patterns that are encoded in your DNA and then let them go.

 Step 1:

What is a situation around you now that based on a karmic seed that was planted in a past life? Trust the message that comes through from your deepest, wisest guidance.

Step 2:

What is the emotion that tends to pull you back into that experience?

Once you’ve identified the feeling, take a moment and relax into it.

“I accept that this karma is still affecting me and that it must change. All things change eventually.”

The more you relax and accept, the faster and easier the experience will dissipate.

Step 3:

The next few symbols are from “Divine Nature Activated” and  will help you release negative conditioning and heal your DNA. The key is to relax as much as possible while looking at each symbol. It can help to imagine that an old, broken DNA strand is falling apart while a vibrant and cohesive DNA strand is strengthening and filling up with light.

When using these symbols, it’s important to relax and breathe as you use each affirmation:

“I let go of seeing myself as weak or powerless.”

“I let go of fixed ideas that have proven to be untrue.”

“I let go of fear and violence. I hold the victory of love in mind.”

“I see myself outside of the lens of my family and generational patterns.”

Step 4:

Now you can get more present. Use this affirmation to help you:

“I live in the present.”

If you’re having trouble getting present, it can help to open and close your fingers. If you’re feeling a strong emotion come up, go back to Step #2 and repeat the process of relaxing and dissipating the negative DNA patterns associated with the feeling.

Step 5:

Now that you are present, ask your deepest wisest guidance:

“What is an action I can take that will help me clear this karmic pattern for good?”

Take as much time as you need to reorganize your thoughts and energy around positive action.

Step 6:

Continue to strengthen yourself by gazing softly at this Circle. Consciously let go of any issue or karma that is not your problem. It may help to visualize them as balloons that are floating back to whomever or wherever they belong.

Step 7:

Finish the game by dissolving destructive blueprints using these affirmations:

“I allow my mind to let go of any pain or suffering I am holding onto. I see my pain like a dark cloud dissolving into a clear, blue sky.”

“I dissolve negative attitudes and behaviors that cause me harm.”

Congratulations!

You’re now in the process of letting go of karma and old energy patterns. Remember the healing isn’t complete until you’ve taken the action you were guided to take in Step #5. If you like, you may go through this healing meditation again around other karma that you may be experiencing.  Be sure to rest though and take good care of yourself!

There has been a lot of discussion about the end of the Mayan Calendar, the Energy Portal that is supposed to open up on 11/11/11 and what that all means to us.

Letting Go So That You Can Be Present

Kuan Yin’s I Ching Reading – Oct. – Nov. 2011

We are receiving help during this time of transition from Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion, who is guiding us through the I Ching, an ancient Chinese text that follows and predicts movements and energy flow in the cosmos. Her advice as always, is direct and to the point!

“Let us use the analogy that describes this period of time in America to a series of freeways that you have the opportunity to travel on – or not, depending on what you choose…

The first freeway is heading towards the I Ching energy of Hexagram #12 STAGNATION. The odd thing about this freeway is that everyone on it is traveling at a frenzied pace.

The second is the freeway that’s moving in the flow of Hexagram #23 DETERIORATION. As one might guess, those who are traveling on this freeway are experiencing a lot of things in their life and work falling apart.

The third freeway is transitioning from the flow of RESOLUTION (Hexagram #43) into Hexagram #15 MODERATION.

The ancient Chinese text description of MODERATION can be compared to the modern meme “Everything in moderation” and it’s basic advice is:

“You should now concentrate upon establishing a harmonious equilibrium with your fellow man and bring MODERATION and order to social institutions. This not only means avoiding radicalism and ostentatious values but also tolerating weaknesses and inferior elements… Do not indulge in extremes of any sort, and instead strive for MODERATION in all that you do.”

Finding the Road to Moderation

“Generally speaking, MODERATION is the more advantageous flow to follow, however that can be difficult when so many extremes and endings are coming together. Karma that is ready to be triggered is very abundant because endings are like that. Many Soul contracts have been completed or need to be released because you are getting ready for a whole new way of being.

To assist you and make your lives a bit easier, I suggest that you let go of any karmic agreement that is complete – over and done with or that is causing you harm in any way. Do this with your family, friends, organizations you have been involved with, business acquaintances, completed projects, where you are living, modes of transportation, communication issues, etc. By doing so you will free up a lot of mind power that is still caught up in the past. You need all of the presence you can muster to help you during times such as these.

Letting Go So You Can Be Present

Use this Soul Contract Circle to help you identify and release the agreements. Simply gaze softly at the Circle while you use the affirmations. It can be helpful to imagine the agreements burning up into ashes as you go through this process.

“I let go of anything that is finished and done with.”

“I let go of anything that is causing me harm.”

There are a couple of other syndromes that might be making it hard for you to find and stay on the road to MODERATION, so we can include them here:

#1: The 24/7 syndrome.

For example, ‘I should be able to do everything and be on top of everything’.

“I release my agreement to be in a hurry.”
“I let go of the pressure I put on myself.”

“I release any agreement I have to overbook myself.”

“My new agreement is that it’s okay to relax.”
“I can catch my breath.”

#2: The ‘if some is good, more is better’ syndrome.

For example: The Sun is good, however too much Sun causes cancer. Butter is good, yet too much butter causes cholesterol, etc.

“I let go of extremes and over-indulgent behavior.”
“I now create balance and moderation in my life.”

It’s always helpful to release old agreements that are complete or need to be let go of, especially at times of endings and beginnings.

For some people, the end of this cycle signifies an opportunity to go within and expel deep patterns of fanaticism within their psyche so that they can evolve and emerge from that pattern, much as a beautiful lotus emerges from the muck and mire at the bottom of a pond.”

Past Life Regression Intensive

Purpose: To explore karma around present day life events; to bring ‘light’ into unconscious beliefs, and to allow for healing, which is defined for our purpose as choice in the given situation.

Structure: The past life regression intensive will have three parts
1) Defining the intention for the weekend2) Learning how to work through past life experiences for catharsis and transformation of related emotions and beliefs3) Learning to follow guidance and letting go of control of outside results
Note: The theme of the weekend will focus around choosing. Why do we choose what we choose? What are the conditions under which we make the choices we do? What are the results of our choices?

Rationale: The purpose of the structure is to optimize the participant’s ability to realize choice in any given situation, which is always a choice of inner experience. By taking one situation that is currently being experienced, the participant can use this as a lab to observe the mind in it’s current state and see what is causing that particular state. This allows for a different choice and release emotional states and beliefs that are no longer appropriate for what the participant would like to change. Learning to listen to an ‘inner voice’ will assist the participant in creating more positive mental states and life situations and assist in limiting and eventually eliminating reactivity.

The Workshop

Friday Night:
Past Life Regression Circle. The participant decides on a personal intention for the class and will experience a past life regression. This event is open to the public – 7:30 – 9:30 pm.

Saturday:
10:00 – 10:30 am – Intro to the weekend intensive. Explanation and discussion about the different facets of the experience of the past life regression from the previous night.

We’ve spent a lot of time covering the generals of past life regression in past articles including why a past life regression might be helpful to you, and the reasons to seek help other than past life regression. We’ve discussed how Cause and Effect, or the Law of Karma causes the happy and unhappy effects in your current life.

Now, I’d like to spend a little more time discussing the specifics of Past Life Regression. Specifically, what might you expect if you were to try this modality?

This is a series of articles that will include:

1) Demystifying hypnosis
a) What Hypnosis is Not
b) What is Hypnosis
2) The particular aspects of past life regression (the actual experience)
3) The two questions that are often asked about regression therapy.

Demystifying Hypnosis

Often, people come to a past life regression or hypnosis session with preconceived notions about hypnosis. Specifically, many are concerned about “mind control” or “losing control over their free will”. This, more often than not, comes from sensationalist media claims and from hypnotists who would rather put on a show rather than utilize hypnosis as a way to help an individual change their attitudes, habits and beliefs about themselves. So, when discussing what hypnosis is, it is important to discuss what it is not.

What Hypnosis is Not

Hypnosis is not mind control, and under no circumstances will you do anything that is against your will. You will not blurt out secrets, unless you want to; you will not rob banks, sing like an opera star; nor will you change any unwanted habit; unless you choose to do so. One way to demystify hypnosis is to unveil the hypnosis stage show, how it works, and how, for entertainment purposes, this can look like the hypnotist is controlling the mind of those on stage.

The Hypnosis Stage Show

Now, before continuing, I am not completely opposed to the hypnosis stage show. What I am opposed to is the use of the hypnosis stage show to an uninformed audience; making the hypnotist look like the all powerful and mighty controller of the mind. While this makes for good theater, it has created much disinformation and distrust of a very useful healing tool.

This is how the stage show works. There are of course variations on this technique, however the general principle of choosing and eliminating subjects will apply. The important rule to remember is that you will not do anything that is against your will.

The Hypnotist observes the audience and searches out those who would be willing to come on stage and do entertaining things whether or not they are hypnotized. So, he/she watches the audience to see whose behavior would fit well on stage; generally, an extrovert who has very animated or even outrageous behavior. So, if the audience is say 100 people, this “filter” will limit the number of people the hypnotist must watch in the audience as subjects.

Then, the hypnotist will do a progressive relaxation and visualization (or some other hypnotic trance technique) and watching those ten or so, see which of those people are showing signs of hypnosis. Those who do come up and are part of the show. If there is an “uncooperative” subject, they hypnotist will let him/her go and make it look like part of the show.

This is not to say that these subjects are not hypnotized as they are, but it comes back to willingness of the subject to do what the suggestions are anyway.

Clearing the Chaos

Have you ever had an fight where you completely forgot what the argument was about?

The energy the first part of this month is very much like that – emotions are running high, but they don’t seem to have any substantial content. Some clients have described it as if they are feeling totally ungrounded and that everything is scattered and going every which way.

Not only that, but there are several short shifts in the I Ching flow this month and we will be doing our best to help keep you informed and going with the flow through Kuan Yin’s I Ching Readings and some important exercises that should help you get your bearings again.

The main areas that seem to be most affected right now are family, partnerships and other close relationships. As we move forward into the New Paradigm, it is very important that we regain control of how we are using our energy.

Feng Shui and Conflict

In this picture of windswept twigs and broken branches, we can see how sharp points and chaos create nothing but confusion. I learned a long time ago to beware of allowing debris like this to build up in my yard and this Spring is no exception. If you have this kind of buildup in your yard, especially in the front, you would be wise to clear it away.

Feng shui refers to sharp, pointy edges as “sha” or killing energy and a bunch of it all together like this indicates an abundance of indescriminant, negative energy. These days, a lot of people are having trouble because the feng shui in their homes or offices are not properly protecting them from these energies.

Of course there is also such a thing as mental sha energy which takes the form of irrational and pointless arguing, abusive behaviors and confusion. This lack of clarity perfectly describes the collective energy of America at this time.

The I Ching energy for the United States through April 11th is Hexagram #33 RETREAT. It seems that retreating from meaningless conflict is called for especially now. That means retreating from the conflict and coming back into your heart. The actual text states…

“It is of great importance that you do not confront or struggle with opposing forces and thereby become emotionally involved with what is, actually, a futile situation. Vengeance and hatred will cloud your judgment and prevent the necessary RETREAT…

Difficulties and hostilities are on the rise in matters of business or politics. Do not attempt to compete with these forces…The overall situation is inflexible at this time…withdraw intellectually and emotionally.”

Kuan Yin’s I Ching Reading for April – Part 1

Relationships, in particular, are the cause of a great deal of confusion, doubt and fear. This is due in part to past karmic entanglements and emotional reactions to conflict. It is futile to persist in these conflicts, yet, so many are having difficulty in letting go.

Success at this time requires courage and resolve to leave the collective cycle of abuse. If you are holding onto victimhood, it is time to RETREAT.

This is a dangerous time to be enmeshed in conflicts because they will cloud your judgment and draw you into painful cycles of abuse that have long been part of the Old Paradigm.

Reorganizing Around Love

Kuan Yin’s Intuitive Learning Game for Change

The key to remaining positive in very negative times is to remember the bottom line – that you are a being of love. Sometimes we forget and allow the prevailing patterns of fear or hatred influence us. One of the main ways that this happens is through confusion.

Did you know that a person who is stuck in confusion is probably under the influence of karmic patterns of abuse? Some of them are about individual karma, however, most of these patterns are collective. In other words, we are all affected by them in one way or another. The game below is made up of Intuitive Learning Circles and is intended to help you disentangle yourself from some of those collective ties. Simply go through the game by answering pertinent questions that will activate your heart wisdom and give you a new perspective.

Shifting Negative Collective Patterns Into Positive Relationships

The question that Kuan Yin would like you to consider as you play the game is:

“In what aspect of my life am I experiencing confusion or fear?”

Use the answer that comes to you as the basis for the game so that you can disengage from the confusion and release your fears very quickly. If there is more than one situation causing you to be angry or fearful, go ahead and play the game again specifically for each situation.

The best way to take the energy out of a negative pattern is to stop feeding it, and that is exactly what this game will help you to do.

How to Play:

Simply look at the images and circles below while you ponder the statements or questions that go with them. Looking at the symbols will help you to go within and access new energy and clarity. What you do with the information you come up with is up to you!

1. To begin, look at this symbol and repeat to yourself several times:

“I am ready, willing and able to shift my perception from negative to positive.”

2. While looking at this circle, think of an aspect of your life that is troubling you. Ask your heart:

“What doesn’t seem right about my current relationship with other people?” or “When is it that I feel abused?”

3. Notice how this situation agitates you. Breathe a few times and allow this circle to calm you down and help you to see more clearly.

4. Use this circle to really tune into your heart. You can do this by focusing your attention on your actual, physical heart. Once you feel a connection, ask for help from your Soul resources.

5. Use this symbol to help you dissolve any feelings of agitation, anger, or fear that you might be feeling right now. You can imagine those negative feelings as black smoke that dissipates into a clear blue sky.

6. What are you afraid might happen? Make a list so that you can get it out of your mind and see it on a piece of paper. Be sure to take your time with this.

7. Imagine that you are in a room where everyone is fighting and throwing curses at each other. Use this symbol to dissolve the scene in your mind completely.

8. Do you believe that you are at fault at all? Do you believe that other people want to hurt you?

9. If so, imagine that you are in a courtroom, complete with judge, jury and executioner. Use this symbol to completely dissolve the scene.

10. Do you feel as though someone or something is manipulating you or trying to make you do something that you don’t want to do?

11. If so, isn’t it time that you stopped buying into the fear? Use this symbol to dissolve any conscious or unconscious contract you may have to buy into fear, anger and abuse. Imagine there is a whole stack of them and they are simply being reduced to ashes by fire.

12. Finally, make a firm decision that you are done with this abuse. With this symbol, clearly see the door that leads to this confusing place closing forever.

Now that the door has been closed, take some time to rest and nurture yourself. Take a walk or spend time in nature. Be prepared to allow yourself to receive the blessings that come from leaving the past behind.
