 Clearing Emotional Gridlock

Sometimes there is so much going on during the holiday season, it seems impossible to make headway in a positive direction. Emotional entanglements are rampant at this time of year because of collective karma that you may share with family or friends. Past life experiences that are still unresolved have a tendency to rise to the surface of our collective consciousness. For some, this is experienced as heightened emotional distress, anger or feelings of powerlessness. This emotional healing game provides one way to loosen up the emotional and karmic gridlock so that resolution can become possible. Use these symbols with your imagination to create emotional healing.

Step One:

Think about a situation involving the holidays or a family problem that just doesn’t seem to get better, no matter what you try. Use this symbol to help you visualize the problem very clearly.

Step Two:

Now we’re going to use your imagination to clear the emotional entanglements you have around this situation. Look at the symbol below and imagine that you’re traveling down an icy road and you come to a screeching halt at a crossroads where the intersection branches off in many different directions. You see a big signpost with signs for all the different destinations, yet for some reason, you can’t see them clearly. The words seem fuzzy and out of focus, creating confusion in your mind. How frustrating it is to be unclear in a place like this where you have to make a decision!

Step Three:

Let’s suppose that by going through the following sequence of symbols, you’ll be able clear your confusion, see the signs clearly and know intuitively what to decide.

Look at this symbol for a few moments and imagine that you are untangling a messy string of holiday lights. Stay with it until the lights are all straightened out and ready to be hung.

Step Four:

Imagine that you’re in a play school with dozens of little children fighting over presents. As you look at this symbol, imagine that you blow a whistle or horn. As if awakened from a nightmare, the children stop fighting and begin to play quietly with each other, and with you.

Step Five:

Imagine that you’re in a toy store where a crowd of people are struggling to get the last toy on the shelf. Now imagine that the toy unexpectedly turns into a pile of wriggling snakes. Use the symbol to transform and clear negativity by imagining that the snakes are disappearing into thin air.

Step Six:

Now imagine that you’re back at the crossroads again. How has it changed? Use this affirmation to clear up any remaining emotional confusion:

“I release all false information. I now perceive clearly.”

Step Seven:

Now you can use Kuan Yin’s symbol for Tidings of Joy to complete the game.

Use this final affirmation:

“I decide to be joyful.”

Congratulations!

You have successfully used your imagination with these healing symbols to clear confusion and obstructions out of your subconscious mind. The next time you encounter this emotional situation, notice if the dynamics have changed for you.

There has been a lot of discussion about the end of the Mayan Calendar, the Energy Portal that is supposed to open up on 11/11/11 and what that all means to us.

Kuan Yin’s I Ching Reading – Oct. – Nov. 2011

We are receiving help during this time of transition from Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion, who is guiding us through the I Ching, an ancient Chinese text that follows and predicts movements and energy flow in the cosmos. Her advice as always, is direct and to the point!

“Let us use the analogy that describes this period of time in America to a series of freeways that you have the opportunity to travel on – or not, depending on what you choose…

The first freeway is heading towards the I Ching energy of Hexagram #12 STAGNATION. The odd thing about this freeway is that everyone on it is traveling at a frenzied pace.

The second is the freeway that’s moving in the flow of Hexagram #23 DETERIORATION. As one might guess, those who are traveling on this freeway are experiencing a lot of things in their life and work falling apart.

The third freeway is transitioning from the flow of RESOLUTION (Hexagram #43) into Hexagram #15 MODERATION.

The ancient Chinese text description of MODERATION can be compared to the modern meme “Everything in moderation” and it’s basic advice is:

“You should now concentrate upon establishing a harmonious equilibrium with your fellow man and bring MODERATION and order to social institutions. This not only means avoiding radicalism and ostentatious values but also tolerating weaknesses and inferior elements… Do not indulge in extremes of any sort, and instead strive for MODERATION in all that you do.”

Finding the Road to Moderation

“Generally speaking, MODERATION is the more advantageous flow to follow, however that can be difficult when so many extremes and endings are coming together. Karma that is ready to be triggered is very abundant because endings are like that. Many Soul contracts have been completed or need to be released because you are getting ready for a whole new way of being.

To assist you and make your lives a bit easier, I suggest that you let go of any karmic agreement that is complete – over and done with or that is causing you harm in any way. Do this with your family, friends, organizations you have been involved with, business acquaintances, completed projects, where you are living, modes of transportation, communication issues, etc. By doing so you will free up a lot of mind power that is still caught up in the past. You need all of the presence you can muster to help you during times such as these.

Letting Go So You Can Be Present

Use this Soul Contract Circle to help you identify and release the agreements. Simply gaze softly at the Circle while you use the affirmations. It can be helpful to imagine the agreements burning up into ashes as you go through this process.

“I let go of anything that is finished and done with.”

“I let go of anything that is causing me harm.”

There are a couple of other syndromes that might be making it hard for you to find and stay on the road to MODERATION, so we can include them here:

#1: The 24/7 syndrome.

For example, ‘I should be able to do everything and be on top of everything’.

“I release my agreement to be in a hurry.”
“I let go of the pressure I put on myself.”

“I release any agreement I have to overbook myself.”

“My new agreement is that it’s okay to relax.”
“I can catch my breath.”

#2: The ‘if some is good, more is better’ syndrome.

For example: The Sun is good, however too much Sun causes cancer. Butter is good, yet too much butter causes cholesterol, etc.

“I let go of extremes and over-indulgent behavior.”
“I now create balance and moderation in my life.”

It’s always helpful to release old agreements that are complete or need to be let go of, especially at times of endings and beginnings.

For some people, the end of this cycle signifies an opportunity to go within and expel deep patterns of fanaticism within their psyche so that they can evolve and emerge from that pattern, much as a beautiful lotus emerges from the muck and mire at the bottom of a pond.”

Reorganizing Around Love

Kuan Yin’s Intuitive Learning Game for Change

The key to remaining positive in very negative times is to remember the bottom line – that you are a being of love. Sometimes we forget and allow the prevailing patterns of fear or hatred influence us. One of the main ways that this happens is through confusion.

Did you know that a person who is stuck in confusion is probably under the influence of karmic patterns of abuse? Some of them are about individual karma, however, most of these patterns are collective. In other words, we are all affected by them in one way or another. The game below is made up of Intuitive Learning Circles and is intended to help you disentangle yourself from some of those collective ties. Simply go through the game by answering pertinent questions that will activate your heart wisdom and give you a new perspective.

Shifting Negative Collective Patterns Into Positive Relationships

The question that Kuan Yin would like you to consider as you play the game is:

“In what aspect of my life am I experiencing confusion or fear?”

Use the answer that comes to you as the basis for the game so that you can disengage from the confusion and release your fears very quickly. If there is more than one situation causing you to be angry or fearful, go ahead and play the game again specifically for each situation.

The best way to take the energy out of a negative pattern is to stop feeding it, and that is exactly what this game will help you to do.

How to Play:

Simply look at the images and circles below while you ponder the statements or questions that go with them. Looking at the symbols will help you to go within and access new energy and clarity. What you do with the information you come up with is up to you!

1. To begin, look at this symbol and repeat to yourself several times:

“I am ready, willing and able to shift my perception from negative to positive.”

2. While looking at this circle, think of an aspect of your life that is troubling you. Ask your heart:

“What doesn’t seem right about my current relationship with other people?” or “When is it that I feel abused?”

3. Notice how this situation agitates you. Breathe a few times and allow this circle to calm you down and help you to see more clearly.

4. Use this circle to really tune into your heart. You can do this by focusing your attention on your actual, physical heart. Once you feel a connection, ask for help from your Soul resources.

5. Use this symbol to help you dissolve any feelings of agitation, anger, or fear that you might be feeling right now. You can imagine those negative feelings as black smoke that dissipates into a clear blue sky.

6. What are you afraid might happen? Make a list so that you can get it out of your mind and see it on a piece of paper. Be sure to take your time with this.

7. Imagine that you are in a room where everyone is fighting and throwing curses at each other. Use this symbol to dissolve the scene in your mind completely.

8. Do you believe that you are at fault at all? Do you believe that other people want to hurt you?

9. If so, imagine that you are in a courtroom, complete with judge, jury and executioner. Use this symbol to completely dissolve the scene.

10. Do you feel as though someone or something is manipulating you or trying to make you do something that you don’t want to do?

11. If so, isn’t it time that you stopped buying into the fear? Use this symbol to dissolve any conscious or unconscious contract you may have to buy into fear, anger and abuse. Imagine there is a whole stack of them and they are simply being reduced to ashes by fire.

12. Finally, make a firm decision that you are done with this abuse. With this symbol, clearly see the door that leads to this confusing place closing forever.

Now that the door has been closed, take some time to rest and nurture yourself. Take a walk or spend time in nature. Be prepared to allow yourself to receive the blessings that come from leaving the past behind.

SPIRITUAL HEALING In The NEW MILLENNIUM.

One of the most devastating things that can happen to a person is the sad reality of living in a dangerous relationship or hostile family environment. Those who are children growing up with illicit drug use, abuse or neglect have little choice but to adapt to their surroundings the best that they can. However, as adults there are more options and one of them is to put a halt to the energetic patterns that support the cycle of abuse.

If you have grown up as a victim of any kind of abuse, you know that it can affect your current relationships in every way imaginable – physically, mentally, emotionally and even on a spiritual level. You may be over-ridden with feelings of guilt, fear or distrust. Because of your feelings of powerlessness, you may feel that you need to strike back or maintain a hyper-vigilant desire to control everything. This is a natural reaction, however, it isn’t very helpful for creating a happier life.

Releasing Yourself from the Cycle of Abuse

One of the biggest problems involved in abuse is being chronically stuck in the past or having an unhealthy attachment to the very people who may have caused the most harm. Psychology calls it enmeshment and that’s a pretty good description of what it’s like. Through the relationship of victim/perpetrator, each person becomes so karmically entwined with the other that it’s really hard to determine where one person leaves off and the other begins. If you are a person who subscribes to the idea of reincarnation and past lives, the victim/perpetrator relationship takes on new meaning.

Karma is simply the Law of Cause and Effect. What one puts out, will come back to them sooner or later. Sometimes it comes back in this lifetime, however, many times the effects don’t come back until some future life. This explains why it is so important to find other ways to respond rather than striking back at those who abuse us. It may feel good in the moment, yet a seed has been sown that will bring that suffering back to us sometime in the future.

In this Intuitive Learning meditation, you will go through a simple process that could help you to break the cycle of abuse so that all the feelings of anger, fear and suffering can become a thing of the past. Like our other meditations and self-hypnosis formulas, we are using the Intuitive Learning Circles from Soul Prayer Charts and Gifts from the Rainforest.

Step One – Abandoning The Cycle of Abuse – The Cause of Present and Future Unhappiness

Directions: Get out a piece of paper and a pen and set aside about 20 minutes to go through this exercise.

#1.

Take several deep breaths as you gaze softly at this first circle.

Think about your family of origin. What does your body feel like?

For instance, does it feel heavy, tight, numb,  etc?

How would you describe your mental/emotional mindset?

Would you say it is sad, angry, depressed, anxious, or something else?

Make a note of what you notice on your piece of paper.

#2.

The following symbols will help you to let go of patterns of abuse being held in your DNA. As you look at each one with it’s affirmation, let yourself relax as much a possible:

“I let go of my tendency to sacrifice my safety.”

“I release the pattern of fear and distrust from my body and mind.”

“I easily and effectively dispel lies and disinformation.”

#3.

Here are some more statements that might dig up ways that you are inadvertently supporting the cycle of abuse.. Fill in the blanks with answers that come while looking at the circle:

“I stop using my energy to feed ____________.”

“I stop feeding my fears of ______________.”

“I cut off the ways that ____________.”

#4.

“I can’t stop thinking about _______________.”

#5.

Once you’re done writing things down, look at the Sun Circle and breathe deeply to bring strength and connection to your spirit back into your heart.

“I fill my heart with the strength and protection. I hold the victory of Love in mind.”

#6.

Continue breathing and look at this Soul Chart for several minutes:

“I bring clarity and personal power back into my mind and body.”

#7.

Because of the abuse, your essence has gotten lost in a dark place. Bring it back by breathing, looking at the symbol and feeling the soft area between your ribs – the solar plexus. Imagine that you are calling back your essence like a child coming back home from being outside.

“I call all parts of my soul and essence back home to my center where they can be safe again.”

#8.

Imagine that you are in a very safe place where you are comfortable and feel completely protected. Let yourself imagine it in every detail.

#9.

Gaze softly at this circle while you keep breathing and feel your body relax:

“I am home, where I belong and I’m filled with light, healing and love.”

It might help to move around and stretch your body. Go ahead and take a few moments to do that if you want.

#10.
Use this next circle to help you disentangle yourself from any other person or soul, now or in the past. Remember to stay calm, using anger or fear will not allow you to release the enmeshment.

“I send you back to where you belong. Our time together is finished.”

#11.

Now imagine that you are removing any marks or karmic imprints from your energy field that come from violence, abuse or neglect. Imagine that your Higher Self is cleaning you up until you are bright and shiny.

“I am free from the past. I am in alignment with my Soul”

Don’t stop until you feel complete and much more at ease.

Notice how you are feeling now. Do you feel better than you did when you started the meditation?

If you do, Congratulations!

I would suggest that you go through this meditation any time you feel like you are caught up by or enmeshed with anyone you know – family, friends, partners, bosses – anyone you feel an unusual and negative attraction to.

If your mind is in turmoil or preoccupied with financial fears, it is quite difficult to “stay positive” and face the challenges of our lives. One reason that we have so much difficulty is because each of us has experienced bankruptcy or serious loss in at least one past life and there are collective Karmic Imprints that perpetuate the patterns of devastation in all of us.

Here at the Institute for Hypnosis and Past Life Regression Therapy, we have developed many types of processes designed to clear personal and collective karma that are drawn from various energy flow principles, including those of feng shui. In this healing exercise, we will use a classic feng shui problem as a model to demonstrate and clear the collective karma around bankruptcy.

This picture represents a house with a serious energy flow problem. If you look carefully, you can see that the stairs leading up to the second floor are positioned very unfortunately right in line with the front door.

Why is this a problem?

Because the chi’ or positive energy flow for prosperity all runs right out the front door, causing severe financial stress on those who live there. People who live in houses with this kind of floor plan often experience continuous exhaustion, bankruptcy and loss.

3 Step Process to Remove the Karmic Imprints of Bankruptcy and Loss

Step 1

While looking at this Intuitive Learning Circle, think of a time when you were afraid of running out of money. Let the energy of the chart slow you down and help you to release fixations and tensions.

Step 2

Look again at the feng shui blueprint above that represents bankruptcy and loss. Now use this symbol to dissolve the image in your mind until there is nothing left but clear space.

Once you have done that, imagine that there is the same blueprint for all your friends, family and community members and that they are laid out in row upon row, reaching out as far as the eye can see. You realize that everyone is being affected by this blueprint in one way or the other.

Remember to include your pets and others animals. They have souls and karma too.

You think to yourself, “Everyone is suffering because of this pattern. I can’t bear to see so much suffering. I will dissolve this blueprint in my own mind at least for the sake of everyone I know and care about.”

Then you use the symbol to dissolve the whole scene.

Step 3

Imagine that you can gather all the karmic imprints for bankruptcy, loss and physical exhaustion from all your past lives as if they were seeds sitting in a storehouse. Use this symbol to send the whole storehouse up to the Sun for purification.

Once you are finished, use this same symbol to plant the seeds in your heart for peaceful, balanced prosperity and good health.

Now imagine that you are turning to face the Sun, ready to embrace your life.

Congratulations!

The Importance of Soul Contracts and the Akashic Records in Clearing Karma

Unfortunately, it can be difficult to release negative karma and accomplish a peaceful and productive mind when agreements from past lives are still being held in your mental continuum. How does that happen?

Let’s say that you are working on an important project and you find yourself at a crossroad where you must make a decision between taking one path or another.  In order to make the best decision, you will want to be present and certain that you have the clarity of mind to do what is in your best interests now, rather than basing your decision on old habits or negative conditioning from the past.

Realize that those habits and conditioning all began with an agreement of some kind. For example, if you tend to sabotage yourself by over-indulging in eating or drinking alcohol, you are unconsciously responding to some kind of agreement or firm decision that you have made in the past. It could be from this lifetime, more often, however, that agreement was most likely planted in your mental continuum during a past life experience and you are now living (or re-living) the karma.

In order to properly nourish yourself and break out of the karmic pattern, it is very helpful to release those old unconscious decisions and replace them with constructive ones that will support you in making choices that are in your best interests today.

Let’s use the example of compassion. It is widely accepted in all true spiritual paths that compassion will guide us away from suffering and lead us to liberation or enlightenment. We can release our agreements to continue following paths that lead us away from compassion.

We can do that right now with the assistance of this symbol that accesses our akashic records or soul contracts.

Simply look at the symbol below with a soft gaze and imagine that you are burning up any contracts or agreements from the past that are preventing you from being compassionate:

“I let go of being unmerciful towards myself or anyone else.”

“I release ideas from my mental continuum that would create terror in my mind or in the mind of anyone else.”

“I recommit to nourishing compassion for all beings, including myself.”

If you like, you can contemplate the specific behavior patterns that are causing you problems and release your agreement to continue following them now.

Even though you may not consciously remember what the past life was or what the exact karma is, this process will help it begin to unravel and release it’s grip on your current behavior.

It’s all fun and good to contemplate the possibilities of who we were in a past life or if someone that we know today has been with us in our past lives, however, it’s much more beneficial to consider “What is really bothering me today? Am I in a position to transform negativity that is causing me difficulty now?”

For example, you might be having difficulty with a new year’s resolution or spending too much time wishing things were different. The best time to let go of the past is when you really feel that you want to change and move forward in a different direction. As a rule, human beings have to be ready and willing before any kind of lasting healing can take place.

So, if you are joining us for one of our upcoming Past Life Regression Healing Circles, or if you are working with someone else on your own, it really pays to come up with an intention that genuinely motivates you.

Here is a quick little exercise using my Intuitive Learning Circles and Graphs to help you zero in on an intention that will most likely produce substantial results for you on your healing path.

Step One:

Look at the graph below and ask yourself:

“What is something that is happening in my life right now that I am ready to heal?”

Step Two:

“What will help me the most as I approach this issue?

Step Three:

“Am I genuinely ready and willing to let go of this issue? If not, why not?

Can I transcend my resistance?

If the answer is no, go through the process again with a different issue, until you find one that you are willing and ready to heal.

Your therapist really wants you to benefit as much as possible. Going through this simple exercise can help everyone achieve their goals.
