Healing Past Cycles of Violence and Fear

If you’re having trouble feeling peaceful, it may be because you’re still “tuning in” to old DNA patterns from past lives. To help you, we’re offering a  Past Life Healing Circle.

Here is some more help through an Energy Healing Game called “Letting Go.”

Gently gaze at these Circles one at a time and consider the question or affirmation that goes with each Step. This process helps you to become aware of past life karmic patterns that are encoded in your DNA and then let them go.

 Step 1:

What is a situation around you now that based on a karmic seed that was planted in a past life? Trust the message that comes through from your deepest, wisest guidance.

Step 2:

What is the emotion that tends to pull you back into that experience?

Once you’ve identified the feeling, take a moment and relax into it.

“I accept that this karma is still affecting me and that it must change. All things change eventually.”

The more you relax and accept, the faster and easier the experience will dissipate.

Step 3:

The next few symbols are from “Divine Nature Activated” and  will help you release negative conditioning and heal your DNA. The key is to relax as much as possible while looking at each symbol. It can help to imagine that an old, broken DNA strand is falling apart while a vibrant and cohesive DNA strand is strengthening and filling up with light.

When using these symbols, it’s important to relax and breathe as you use each affirmation:

“I let go of seeing myself as weak or powerless.”

“I let go of fixed ideas that have proven to be untrue.”

“I let go of fear and violence. I hold the victory of love in mind.”

“I see myself outside of the lens of my family and generational patterns.”

Step 4:

Now you can get more present. Use this affirmation to help you:

“I live in the present.”

If you’re having trouble getting present, it can help to open and close your fingers. If you’re feeling a strong emotion come up, go back to Step #2 and repeat the process of relaxing and dissipating the negative DNA patterns associated with the feeling.

Step 5:

Now that you are present, ask your deepest wisest guidance:

“What is an action I can take that will help me clear this karmic pattern for good?”

Take as much time as you need to reorganize your thoughts and energy around positive action.

Step 6:

Continue to strengthen yourself by gazing softly at this Circle. Consciously let go of any issue or karma that is not your problem. It may help to visualize them as balloons that are floating back to whomever or wherever they belong.

Step 7:

Finish the game by dissolving destructive blueprints using these affirmations:

“I allow my mind to let go of any pain or suffering I am holding onto. I see my pain like a dark cloud dissolving into a clear, blue sky.”

“I dissolve negative attitudes and behaviors that cause me harm.”

Congratulations!

You’re now in the process of letting go of karma and old energy patterns. Remember the healing isn’t complete until you’ve taken the action you were guided to take in Step #5. If you like, you may go through this healing meditation again around other karma that you may be experiencing.  Be sure to rest though and take good care of yourself!

There has been a lot of discussion about the end of the Mayan Calendar, the Energy Portal that is supposed to open up on 11/11/11 and what that all means to us.

Past Life Regression Intensive

Purpose: To explore karma around present day life events; to bring ‘light’ into unconscious beliefs, and to allow for healing, which is defined for our purpose as choice in the given situation.

Structure: The past life regression intensive will have three parts
1) Defining the intention for the weekend2) Learning how to work through past life experiences for catharsis and transformation of related emotions and beliefs3) Learning to follow guidance and letting go of control of outside results
Note: The theme of the weekend will focus around choosing. Why do we choose what we choose? What are the conditions under which we make the choices we do? What are the results of our choices?

Rationale: The purpose of the structure is to optimize the participant’s ability to realize choice in any given situation, which is always a choice of inner experience. By taking one situation that is currently being experienced, the participant can use this as a lab to observe the mind in it’s current state and see what is causing that particular state. This allows for a different choice and release emotional states and beliefs that are no longer appropriate for what the participant would like to change. Learning to listen to an ‘inner voice’ will assist the participant in creating more positive mental states and life situations and assist in limiting and eventually eliminating reactivity.

The Workshop

Friday Night:
Past Life Regression Circle. The participant decides on a personal intention for the class and will experience a past life regression. This event is open to the public – 7:30 – 9:30 pm.

Saturday:
10:00 – 10:30 am – Intro to the weekend intensive. Explanation and discussion about the different facets of the experience of the past life regression from the previous night.

We’ve now looked at setting an intention and navigating past life memories. This post will answer three common questions that are asked about this experience. One is a common question for any hypnosis session and the other two are for past life regression.

I am concerned that I will give up control to you during hypnosis, will I do things I do not want to do or give away secrets I do not wish to divulge?

No. All hypnosis is actually self-hypnosis. The hypnotherapist merely creates the conditions in which you can get yourself into an altered state. You are in complete control of yourself and your experience. See what is hypnosis.

What if I don’t experience anything or see past lives?

The past life experience utilizes imagination. The technique for “getting nothing”, is to just start making it up. This will do two things.

First, it will comfort the conscious mind and assist you in getting past blocks. If you are making it up, then your conscious mind may be more willing to allow that information to seep through. It is amazing how many times people have made up an experience that did not reflect anything in the current knowledge and experience.

Second. By utilizing your imagination in this way, you loosen up the conscious mind’s hold on the experience which will allow you to slip into the experience.

What if the experience is just too much for me and I see difficult things I cannot handle?

The “prime directive” of the conscious mind is to preserve and protect the body. This can be seen in many humans when they use their faculty for denial of painful events and is often present with repressed memories exhibited by people who have suffered childhood abuse. The mind will not present you with memories that you cannot handle or will endanger you. However, this does not mean that you will avoid unpleasant or challenging material.

I advise all my clients that when difficult material presents itself, realize that it is often repressed material that may need released. Sitting through this difficult material often pays off in more freedom and happiness in your regular mundane life. I would encourage anyone faced with this in the regression situation to see it through to the end.

With that said, going back to the first question, you can just open your eyes and be done with the regression, because you are in complete control of the experience.

So far, we’ve learned what hypnosis is not, what hypnosis is, and the importance of setting an intention.  In this post, I’ll begin the discussion about the actual regression experience, particularly some of the things that people may experience, why they may experience them and how to navigate the terrain.

The Unconscious Mind

In understanding the terrain, one could simply remember what their dreams are like. Dreams do not follow the rules of physical reality and often need to be interpreted for meaning. It is this same part of the mind (the unconscious) that works on us during our waking reality and can lead to things that we believe (in waking consciousness) to be irrational or ‘non-typical’ behavior.  As we all know, the unconscious mind is symbolic and has no need for time and space.

One unconscious process that we use in waking reality is memory. Memory is a function of the imagination and as we also know, is open to interpretation. It also can be highly symbolic and does not concern itself with time or space (or you wouldn’t be able to remember past events).

Past Life Regression and Memory

With this information about memory, let’s talk more about past life memories. Often these memories run into each other, because the unconscious mind relates experiences more as a constellation rather than on a linear time-line. Often there are several lives that cause karma which produce effects in this life time. So, I’ve noticed a couple of different phenomena that happen fairly often in my practice. We might find, for instance, that one may experience several different lives during a sitting that all reflect the same karma. Also, as happens less frequently, but still worth noting, is that lives may actually inter-pose on each other revealing a karmic relationship.

As an example, a person may find that he is an ancient Isrealite in the desert with Moses and is wearing a 1940′s German military uniform. This might reveal to an individual his karma in regard to anti-semitism as an example.

Getting out of the Human/Earth Paradigm

People often have experiences as insects, animals or non-earth intelligent beings. All of these (if you believe that there is life on other planets) are possible and should not be discounted. Whether it is a reality or material from your unconscious mind is not the issue here. Rather, it is material that is asked to be looked at for information and healing. So, do not judge the reality of the experience but what you think you know about the cosmos. Rather judge the experience to it’s relevance to what you are experiencing around your intention.

Reorganizing Around Love

Kuan Yin’s Intuitive Learning Game for Change

The key to remaining positive in very negative times is to remember the bottom line – that you are a being of love. Sometimes we forget and allow the prevailing patterns of fear or hatred influence us. One of the main ways that this happens is through confusion.

Did you know that a person who is stuck in confusion is probably under the influence of karmic patterns of abuse? Some of them are about individual karma, however, most of these patterns are collective. In other words, we are all affected by them in one way or another. The game below is made up of Intuitive Learning Circles and is intended to help you disentangle yourself from some of those collective ties. Simply go through the game by answering pertinent questions that will activate your heart wisdom and give you a new perspective.

Shifting Negative Collective Patterns Into Positive Relationships

The question that Kuan Yin would like you to consider as you play the game is:

“In what aspect of my life am I experiencing confusion or fear?”

Use the answer that comes to you as the basis for the game so that you can disengage from the confusion and release your fears very quickly. If there is more than one situation causing you to be angry or fearful, go ahead and play the game again specifically for each situation.

The best way to take the energy out of a negative pattern is to stop feeding it, and that is exactly what this game will help you to do.

How to Play:

Simply look at the images and circles below while you ponder the statements or questions that go with them. Looking at the symbols will help you to go within and access new energy and clarity. What you do with the information you come up with is up to you!

1. To begin, look at this symbol and repeat to yourself several times:

“I am ready, willing and able to shift my perception from negative to positive.”

2. While looking at this circle, think of an aspect of your life that is troubling you. Ask your heart:

“What doesn’t seem right about my current relationship with other people?” or “When is it that I feel abused?”

3. Notice how this situation agitates you. Breathe a few times and allow this circle to calm you down and help you to see more clearly.

4. Use this circle to really tune into your heart. You can do this by focusing your attention on your actual, physical heart. Once you feel a connection, ask for help from your Soul resources.

5. Use this symbol to help you dissolve any feelings of agitation, anger, or fear that you might be feeling right now. You can imagine those negative feelings as black smoke that dissipates into a clear blue sky.

6. What are you afraid might happen? Make a list so that you can get it out of your mind and see it on a piece of paper. Be sure to take your time with this.

7. Imagine that you are in a room where everyone is fighting and throwing curses at each other. Use this symbol to dissolve the scene in your mind completely.

8. Do you believe that you are at fault at all? Do you believe that other people want to hurt you?

9. If so, imagine that you are in a courtroom, complete with judge, jury and executioner. Use this symbol to completely dissolve the scene.

10. Do you feel as though someone or something is manipulating you or trying to make you do something that you don’t want to do?

11. If so, isn’t it time that you stopped buying into the fear? Use this symbol to dissolve any conscious or unconscious contract you may have to buy into fear, anger and abuse. Imagine there is a whole stack of them and they are simply being reduced to ashes by fire.

12. Finally, make a firm decision that you are done with this abuse. With this symbol, clearly see the door that leads to this confusing place closing forever.

Now that the door has been closed, take some time to rest and nurture yourself. Take a walk or spend time in nature. Be prepared to allow yourself to receive the blessings that come from leaving the past behind.

One of the most devastating things that can happen to a person is the sad reality of living in a dangerous relationship or hostile family environment. Those who are children growing up with illicit drug use, abuse or neglect have little choice but to adapt to their surroundings the best that they can. However, as adults there are more options and one of them is to put a halt to the energetic patterns that support the cycle of abuse.

If you have grown up as a victim of any kind of abuse, you know that it can affect your current relationships in every way imaginable – physically, mentally, emotionally and even on a spiritual level. You may be over-ridden with feelings of guilt, fear or distrust. Because of your feelings of powerlessness, you may feel that you need to strike back or maintain a hyper-vigilant desire to control everything. This is a natural reaction, however, it isn’t very helpful for creating a happier life.

Releasing Yourself from the Cycle of Abuse

One of the biggest problems involved in abuse is being chronically stuck in the past or having an unhealthy attachment to the very people who may have caused the most harm. Psychology calls it enmeshment and that’s a pretty good description of what it’s like. Through the relationship of victim/perpetrator, each person becomes so karmically entwined with the other that it’s really hard to determine where one person leaves off and the other begins. If you are a person who subscribes to the idea of reincarnation and past lives, the victim/perpetrator relationship takes on new meaning.

Karma is simply the Law of Cause and Effect. What one puts out, will come back to them sooner or later. Sometimes it comes back in this lifetime, however, many times the effects don’t come back until some future life. This explains why it is so important to find other ways to respond rather than striking back at those who abuse us. It may feel good in the moment, yet a seed has been sown that will bring that suffering back to us sometime in the future.

In this Intuitive Learning meditation, you will go through a simple process that could help you to break the cycle of abuse so that all the feelings of anger, fear and suffering can become a thing of the past. Like our other meditations and self-hypnosis formulas, we are using the Intuitive Learning Circles from Divine Nature Activated and Gifts from the Rainforest.

Step One – Abandoning The Cycle of Abuse – The Cause of Present and Future Unhappiness

Directions: Get out a piece of paper and a pen and set aside about 20 minutes to go through this exercise.

#1.

Take several deep breaths as you gaze softly at this first circle.

Think about your family of origin. What does your body feel like?

For instance, does it feel heavy, tight, numb,  etc?

How would you describe your mental/emotional mindset?

Would you say it is sad, angry, depressed, anxious, or something else?

Make a note of what you notice on your piece of paper.

#2.

The next few symbols are from “Divine Nature Activated” and  will help us release negative conditioning and heal our DNA. The key is to relax as much as possible while looking at each symbol. It can help to imagine that an old, broken DNA strand is falling apart while a vibrant and cohesive DNA strand is relaxing, healing and filling up with light.

The following symbols will help you to let go of patterns of abuse being held in your DNA. As you look at each one with it’s affirmation, let yourself relax as much a possible:

“I let go of my tendency to sacrifice my safety or well-being.”

“I release the pattern of fear and distrust from my body and mind.”

“I easily and effectively dispel lies and mistaken ideas.”

#3.

Here are some more statements that might dig up ways that you are inadvertently supporting the cycle of abuse.. Fill in the blanks with answers that come while looking at the circle:

“I stop using my energy to feed ____________.”

“I stop feeding my fears of ______________.”

“I cut off the ways that ____________.”

#4.

“I can’t stop thinking about _______________.”

#5.

Once you’re done writing things down, look at this symbol and breathe deeply to bring strength and connection to your spirit back into your heart.

“I fill my heart with strength and protection. I hold the victory of Love in mind.”

#6.

Continue breathing and look at this Soul Chart for several minutes:

“I bring clarity and personal power back into my mind and body.”

#7.

Because of the abuse, your essence has gotten lost in a dark place. Bring it back by breathing, looking at the symbol and feeling the soft area between your ribs – the solar plexus. Imagine that you are calling back your essence like a child coming back home from being outside.

“I call all parts of my soul and essence back home to my center where they can be safe again.”

#8.

Imagine that you are in a very safe place where you are comfortable and feel completely protected. Let yourself imagine it in every detail.

#9.

Gaze softly at this circle while you keep breathing and feel your body relax:

“I am home, where I belong and I’m filled with light, healing and love.”

It might help to move around and stretch your body. Go ahead and take a few moments to do that if you want.

#10.
Use this next circle to help you disentangle yourself from any other person or soul, now or in the past. Remember to stay calm and steady, using anger or fear will not allow you to release the enmeshment.

“I send you back to where you belong. Our time together is finished.”

#11.

Now imagine that you are removing any marks or karmic imprints from your energy field that come from violence, abuse or neglect. Imagine that your Higher Self is cleaning you up until you are bright and shiny.

“I am free from the past. I am in alignment with my Soul”

Don’t stop until you feel complete and much more at ease.

Notice how you are feeling now. Do you feel better than you did when you started the meditation?

If you do, Congratulations!

I would suggest that you go through this meditation any time you feel like you are caught up by or enmeshed with anyone you know – family, friends, partners, bosses – anyone you feel an unusual and negative attraction to.

One reason that we have so much difficulty is because each of us has experienced bankruptcy or serious loss in at least one past life and there are collective Karmic Imprints that perpetuate the patterns of devastation in all of us.

Here at the Institute for Hypnosis and Past Life Regression Therapy, we have developed many types of processes designed to clear personal and collective karma that are drawn from various energy flow principles, including those of feng shui. In this healing exercise, we will use a classic feng shui problem as a model to demonstrate and clear the collective karma around bankruptcy.

This picture represents a house with a serious energy flow problem. If you look carefully, you can see that the stairs leading up to the second floor are positioned very unfortunately right in line with the front door.

Why is this a problem?

Because the chi’ or positive energy flow for prosperity all runs right out the front door, causing severe financial stress on those who live there. People who live in houses with this kind of floor plan often experience continuous exhaustion, bankruptcy and loss.

3 Step Process to Remove the Karmic Imprints of Bankruptcy and Loss

Step 1

While looking at this Intuitive Learning Circle, think of a time when you were afraid of running out of money. Let the energy of the chart slow you down and help you to release fixations and tensions.

Step 2

Look again at the feng shui blueprint above that represents bankruptcy and loss. Now use this symbol to dissolve the image in your mind until there is nothing left but clear space.

Once you have done that, imagine that there is the same blueprint for all your friends, family and community members and that they are laid out in row upon row, reaching out as far as the eye can see. You realize that everyone is being affected by this blueprint in one way or the other.

Remember to include your pets and others animals. They have souls and karma too.

You think to yourself, “Everyone is suffering because of this pattern. I can’t bear to see so much suffering. I will dissolve this blueprint in my own mind at least for the sake of everyone I know and care about.”

Then you use the symbol to dissolve the whole scene.

Step 3

Imagine that you can gather all the karmic imprints for bankruptcy, loss and physical exhaustion from all your past lives as if they were seeds sitting in a storehouse. Use this symbol to send the whole storehouse up to the Sun for purification.

Once you are finished, use this same symbol to plant the seeds in your heart for peaceful, balanced prosperity and good health.

Now imagine that you are turning to face the Sun, ready to embrace your life.
